Born and raised in a beach community on the Oregon coast, Alice Dobson began designing and sewing as a young child. Inspired by the handmade creations of her mother and grandmother, she first learned to sew on her family's vintage Singer.

With an Associate's Degree in Apparel Manufacturing from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles, California, Alice has worked for several designers including Adriano Goldschmied, Anna Huling and Fawn Rogers for Dritti.

"I love fabrics that are comfortable but textured," Alice says. "My customer is a woman with a moderate disposable income who likes to be sexy. She knows what the trends are but is not overly 'trendy', instead rather stylish and she appreciates good quality for a moderate price.
